About

Joe is an aspiring spatial audio engineer and sound designer, born in Seoul and based in New York, currently studying as an undergraduate Music Technology student at New York University. Classically trained as a percussionist, Joe has always had an affinity for rhythm and space, and has carried this passion into producing music, recording instruments professionally, and working as a sound designer for visual media, with influences ranging from Disclosure and SG Lewis to Mac Miller. He is now leaning toward building his own audio tools, including a binaural panner currently in development, treating the software side as an extension of the same craft, not separate.
